We have structured the deck in the typical Tarot pattern of 22 Major Arcana cards, 40 Minor Arcana cards and 16 face or people cards.
The Major Arcana are drawn from Archetypal forms such as High Priestess, Emperor, Death, and Moon. They are drawn in a more arcane style to help emphasize the Archetypal energies that they carry.
The Minor Arcana are manifestations of the numbers 1 through 10 in each of the elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The subjects of these cards are more modern in nature with emphasize on element and number.
The Face or People cards are quite unique in the realm of Tarot because they are Man, Woman, Adolescent and Child, in each of the four elements. Many of these cards depict modern people in their daily lives. Because of the ages of the individuals on these cards, they can reflect more of a psychological picture of the situation. It is important to remember that everyone holds masculine and feminine elements within themselves–young and old. These cards can also reflect a person whose energy is influencing the person who is having the reading.
